Keep it super Simple

HI Rev. Lowell Brown here with another 5 minutes on God.

In a previous 5 Minutes on God I talked about your mind’s eye and how you can control it.
Today I would like to add to that thought.
Add that making things to complicated is a part of being human.
My wife says this is what I do every time I try to explain computers.
Nothing like a loving partner to let us know where we could grow.
So when I smack my forehead and say listen up it is aimed at me not you.
KISS means to me Keep it Super Simple, (not the other definition)
That is how I urge you to get, grow and Live in Faith.
Keep it super simple
Faith is like a flower, beautiful as it is. When you pull off its petals to see the center it no longer is a beautiful Flower.
So be a child with candy, Consume the fruits of your faith.
When I child gets up and sees a beautiful day outside he doesn’t say, I wonder why it is nice today and wasn’t nice yesterday.
He says yea!
Then goes out and plays in it as soon as he can.
He doesn’t think “I don’t deserve this.”
He lets the Joy of it affect and increase his joy.
In Mark 9:37 Jesus Said
“Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes not only me but also my Father who sent me.”

Listen I know you are an adult and have great amounts of Knowledge and Understanding of things. Some attained at great effort and cost.
But am here to tell you, that faith is not among that knowledge and learning.
Because Faith does not come from the logic section of your brain.
It comes from the acceptance, that there are things greater than knowledge.
Jesus may have been trying to tell us that God is not found from the eyes of an adult.
That he comes from a young Child’s perspective of life and beauty.
That when we see a Rainbow. we need to look at it and think WOW that is beautiful.
Not think hey the rain caused another rainbow.
I child observes and enjoys.
So should you, because it was put there to be enjoyed not analyzed.
Look let me very plain. Faith will not be found through the lens of a Microscope.
It is found when you decide to let your Mind’s eyes see the greatness around you and in you.
Knowledge has its place and the quest and mastery of knowledge can benefit all of us in this world.
Faith does not need this knowledge.
Because it arrives prepackaged and ready for use..
There is a reason Jesus talks about how being humble like a Child raises you up in the kingdom of heaven.
IN Mathew 18:4
It is because from the Mind’s eye of a child the world comes in unfiltered. The beauty is still visible in everything.
So decide today to adjust your Mind’s eye to see the beauty around you.
Keep your faith fresh and new by noticing the Good and Wonder not the obvious and dreadful.
Living in the world makes it important to grow and increase our knowledge to survive at times.
But don’t sacrifice faith and beauty for knowledge. You don’t have to.
God made you so you can have both.
But knowledge without Gods Love and Guidance is just an empty dead shell, without joy and wonder.
So polish your faith, Keep your child active and in you throughout your life.
Do this by keeping God first.
Letting him show your mind’s eye the many gifts he has for you.
He loves all his children and wants them to enjoy life.
Living in faith to me is like:
Being safe in a strong fortress looking out at a Powerful and dangerous storm that can’t touch me.
So rather than be scared I see the majesty, beauty, and power of such a magnificent storm
Without Fear of it.
Let God be your Fortress, Let him into your heart to give you Faith, to protect you from this stormy world.

Today I would like to talk to you about something that is very important to how much happiness and Joy you get from this world.
That is Finding and following your calling. Where your talents are best applied.
Before I talk about following your calling I want to state that I know with absolute certainty from my heart and soul that we are not intended to be miserable or unhappy in our lives.
That Letting fear and worldly concerns dominate you will lead to this unhappiness and more fear.
Let me Say this too you
YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH because GOD LOVES YOU
The antidote to this fear and worldly obsession is to seek and find your callings.
It is that simple, Open your heart and aim your efforts at finding what gives you real Joy. Then grab it with both hands, Hug it, and love it with all your heart.
I can hear you thinking from here.
How do I find my calling I am lost right now?
I realize it is simple to say find your calling, but much more difficult to actually live a life that finds it.
It takes determination, and Gods guidance to get there.
In Romans 12: 6
they state that each of us is given different Gifts from God and that when we find them we are to use them for his Glory.

In my journey through life I know this to be true.
How do I know that its true?
Because when I find a Calling it passes the Shoulder Droop Test.
Even as adults we are all still like children in our hearts.
So when you are learning or doing something new in your life. Give it the shoulder Droop Test.
Make sure you fully learn the skills and wait until the newness of what you are doing wears off.
Then
Check the set of your shoulders while you are deeply involved in your activity.
Better yet ask someone else to look and see for you.
If they are drooping then this is not your calling.
If they are drooping every time you check then it decision time.
So what do I do If they are drooping, I have to make a living?
Don’t fret and certainly to do be miserable. Because everything we try in our life adds to us and makes us ready to do Our calling when we find it.
So you are really just on a Journey, and the journey is as important as the destination.
For without the Journey we would not be ready to perform our calling later.

So what I mean by it’s decision time is that you need to decide to change how you are viewing what you are doing.
Change it to a learning experience and decide to squeeze everything possible out of it. Challenge yourself to notice the things you are learning.
Why should I do that Shouldn’t I just move on and try something else?
To that Question I answer
NO
Because it is in the embracing and learning that we get the skills and opportunities for are next step on the Journey to our calling.
The act of now concentrating on learning to seek your next opportunity and skill, will lift those shoulders back up and let joy back in.
When the next opportunity is available you will be ready to try it and start the Shoulder droop test again.

Life is a series of shoulder droop tests.
and
There is no failure, only more knowledge.
When you learn to continue on the journey and live in this way you will always be heading toward your calling, and when you find it.
It will pass the Shoulder droop test. Because you will be able to fully accomplish it.
Your light will shine brighter and brighter.
So decide today to pay attention to the child in you and keep checking those shoulders.
Learn to lift them back up by learning and growing and take the next opportunity you are guided too.
Doing this will make you happier and give you a life living in Gods light.
So make sure to notice your shoulders because other people certainly do.
People know when you are happy. So decide to make every opportunity a step onto your calling and live happy today.

Hey today I want to talk with you about getting promotion into your life.
We all want promotion and success.
I know I do.
I want to get promoted in this world and the Next.
Do you too?
I would like to tell you about the way to make this happen.
It’s so simple that it is hard.
It is hard for some and Impossible for others
(Impossible until they are ready)
They way to promotion and a life of plenty now and forever is through Faith.
That’s right Faith is how you get promoted.
Faith in Jesus and his works.
Let me make this very Clear.
Faith is the key.
In this life it is not what you do. Which is called your works in the bible.

in John 14:1-6
Jesus, the Way to the Father
“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. And you know the way to where I am going.”
“No, we don’t know, Lord,” Thomas said. “We have no idea where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!”

Tells this. That there is no other way to God his father except through him. Because he is the way, the truth, and the Life. No One can come to the father except through Him.
That so serious stuff there.
So Simple yet so many chose to ignore it.

Listen living a good and righteous life is what you are supposed to do.
It is a life that will reward you here on earth.
But make no mistake.
Faith Trumps it every time.
Faith in Jesus and through him God and the Holy spirit.
Now if your first thought is that with Jesus great I don’t have to life righteous because I believe in Jesus.
Then I suggest you missed something.
Because All I am trying to show you is that Faith in God and Jesus must be 1st.
Above all else in your life.
Then come your good works and shining life.
Works become easier with God there to help carry the load through the Holy Spirit.
SO Quick Recap here:

To promote yourself and your life.
You need to build strong faith.
Then Follow your heart, your life and works will promote you.
So:
Faith + Works(your life) = Promotion in your life
Works w/o Faith = Darkness and Demotion
The point is that Faith Delivers the Goods:
– Eternal Life
– A Life of Plenty
– Endless Love
– Personal Strength
– A Brilliant Light
And Best of all “The Holy Spirit” Your connection to promotion
And Then More Faith leads to:
Joy, Love, Happiness, Fulfillment, a True Life, and the power of God.

So by now I hope you are ready to get promoted in your life.
And are asking how do I get started.
Well 1st
Pray and except Jesus into your life, Confess to him your sins, ask him to forgive you your sins, as you will forgive the sins of others.
Ask him to your life to grow your faith.
That’s the hardest part of this promotion plan.
So don’t slack here. This is serious stuff.
Then if you would like to grow your faith, and I hope you will.
I like to recommend that you grab your bible and walk with Jesus.
For me the Closest way I have found to grow my faith is to read the words of Jesus that were put down by his apostles in John, Luke, Matthew, and Mark.
These are eyewitness accounts of Jesus’ walk here on earth and the wonders he did.
So decide to get that promotion, Grab that Brass Ring.
To live a powerful and passionate life of plenty in Jesus.

Today I wanted to talk to you about your mind’s eye.
It’s that mental thing in your head through which everything you see, hear, smell, feel, and taste goes through.
Some people call this filtering, Filtering of our senses.
so that we can understand what our senses send us.
Your Mind’s Eye
Without our minds Eye we would not be able to understand or interpret what our senses bring to us.
It is an amazing feature of being Human, and what it is capable of is still being discovered.
Many people never give their Mind’s eye a thought and just go through life ignoring its effects on them.
But that is not you. Because today you will start watching yours today.
My Mind’s eye is used for many wonderful things.

Its biggest and best function is the reception of the Holy Spirit and Gods Visions.
When you put God first and live a life in his light, God sends you visions.
An important Vision from God is talked about
In Acts 10:17
This Vision of Peter’s resulted in many wonderful benefits for you and I.
This was very important vision that guided Peter to minister to us Gentiles and start Gods ministry with us that very Day.
God uses our minds Eye. Connecting through our heart.
your mind’s Eye is a very powerful tool in your life that you need to control and use.
So decide to control your mind’s eye today.
Another exciting Use of your mind’s eye is as a Projector.
You already do this but most likely don’t realize it.
You project your interpretation of the world on everything that is outside your body.
So why not manipulate that projection.
Project Happy.
Project success.
Project Love.
Project Peace.
Decide what today will look then Decide to Project it.
So make it Good, Make it for God.
it’s your life and your Mind’s Eye.

At first you may struggle at projecting through your Mind’s eye but you will master it. Just ask God to show you how.
The technique is fairly simple.

Create in your mind a Vision of how you want today to be.
Things Like.
Today I will smile no matter what happens.
Then see you self happy and smiling all day.
Then decide to project this out into the world Today.
And whalla you are smiling, before you realize you are smiling. Projecting a Smile out to the world.
Decide to control your projector today. Create your own film today. You can even be the star in your own film.
Get up every day and consciously decide what to project. Don’t leave it on automatic.
Learn to practice projecting, because this is a Key part of creating a Happy fulfilled life.
With vision and practice you can even project how your future turns out.
Put God first and let him guide your future.
You concentrate on learning to keep your Mind’s Eye clean clear and Bright.
So you can project a wonderful life from it.
Go out and practice living and projecting a great light into the world.
Your Future depends on it.

Hi Today I want to talk about a concept more than a fact.

Let’s start with a fact, we Humans are separate and very Individual.

You can’t know anyone but your self completely. Everyone has their own secret inner self isolated from everyone else.

No matter what you do you cannot enter another person’s inner being.

Their individuality is always their own.

Yours is your own.

Theirs is their own.

Now stop and think about that a second.

Now expand it to the Billions of people on this earth and it gets incredible.

Thoughts like this almost, always bring me to my knees in awe of the power of God.

Why?

Because God does not speak to us as a Group.

God speaks to us individually.

He Loves us and helps us find our callings individually.

So now let me shift gears here.

Let me throw in a technical analogy for you.

Ok, (I’m a Geek at Heart)

In the time before Jesus, God set up a Phone booth to talk to his people.

The tabernacle is what I am speaking of.

It is the Phone and Phone line for other Geeks out there.

Their was only one connection. And it was not shared.

And before that their was no Phone.

So God had to yell across to speak to us.

Then it all Changed.

Jesus changed everything.

Buy Giving up his only son Jesus, to cleanse our sins, and forgive us.

God laid down the Spirit technology for his internet.

Just like how the internet connects us to the world of individuals.

The Holy Spirit connects us to God’s universes.

Through Jesus using the Holy Spirit.

So a quick recap here.

Before Jesus, also know as B.C.

One scratchy phone line, with no internet, and limited access.

After Jesus, also know as A.D.

The Holy Spirit arrives, (the Internet)

Anyone can get a connection for Free.

And the world starts to change.

Yeh, Yeh, I know some of the early adopters caused some problems, But the bugs are getting figuring out and fixed as it expands.

The cool thing is that the Holy Spirit connection is infinite. And can expand to the billions here on earth, past and present.

But there is a catch.

One, you need to know about it!

You see.

Today I want to talk about your struggle in life.

About the fact that it is time to leave the struggle behind you.

When you are focused on just getting through today. Or to Just survive.

You are blind.

Blind to the hidden nature of the world.

The fact that you are made to shine not perish

I know life is not easy and that some times we live in fear.

Yet Fear is a tool to block you from seeing the truth.

IN Fear you cannot Shine.

In Fear you cannot receive the basics.

In fear you will not grow.

Yet I am not here today to talk to you about fear.

I am here to talk about the antidote to fear

So Here it is:

The antidote to fear is Vision.

Vision of a better life.

Vision of a better world.

Vision of a you with plenty.

With vision you can attract more than you will ever need.
The problem with Vision though is that it never comes to you with out effort, and practice on your part.

Yet when you have Vision you will soon have more than plenty.

You see it truly is your free will that determines your struggle in this world.

If you choose to only focus on getting by.

Then that is exactly what you will do. Get by barely.

Yet the hidden truth is that if you have faith in a better world for yourself and family.

It will appear.

Not overnight.

Listen you didn’t get to where you are now over night.

So don’t expect a world of plenty over night either.

Yet everyday if you get up with a Vision of your life as a success.

And then do everything you know how to do to make it happen.

God will place opportunities into your path to give you plenty.

In

• 2 Corinthians 9:8 (NLT)
And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.

you are told that God will generously provide all you need. That you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.

Is that how your life is now?

If not then maybe it is time to take a clue From God.

When he created our world he spoke it into existence.

And it was created as he commanded.

That’s a mighty big hint there.

For things to come into your life.

You must first imagine and create them in your head.

This is your vision.

But it must not stop there.

You must speak it into existence.

Everyday review your vision and describe it in prayer to God.

Watch as your world of plenty arrives.

It still takes dedicated hard work to happen, and may be modified to God’s plan of plenty.

Yet it will still be a world of plenty for you.

Through your work and dedication of faith is how God can bring things to you.

Nothing arrives from sitting on the coach.

So decide to receive your Plenty.

Have a vision of your world of plenty.

Put God first and tell him about this new world of plenty. Show him your passion and excitement.

Then get out there and work at it everyday.

Be grateful for everything you already have and for the new things that come to you.

Because a world of plenty isn’t just about you.

So make others successful too.

Share this hidden truth and help them Shine.

That’s all God needs is a way to bless you.

Time to Shine, Time to receive a life of plenty.

Time to feel it in your life and soul.

Time to honor God’s Glory by living a life of plenty.

See it Live it, and then get it. Be grateful everyday for it.

God’s world of plenty is there and waiting for your vision.

So decide to reveal God’s Glory in your life.

Put God and Jesus first in your life.

Live a life filled with passion, Love and Vision.

Oh and make sure to keep God informed on all the good you are going to do with this world of plenty he is about to shower on you.
